Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf
Applications are invited for the post of Chaplain and Parish Priest of the Anglican Parish of Limassol (Cyprus)
It is intended that this post be combined with that of Diocesan Spirituality Adviser
Limassol is an established, outward looking, thriving and financially responsible parish with two worship centres, and a staff that includes a non-stipendiary Curate as well as retired clergy with permission to officiate.
The congregations are ethnically diverse, with worship in English. They have recently taken part in an audit exercise and seek a priest who is mission-minded, keen to develop international and youth work, and who is comfortable with, and excited by, the prospect of cultural diversity.
As Spirituality Adviser, the appointee will contribute on a one day per week equivalent basis to the collective ministry of the Diocesan Barnabas Team.
Full details of the team and information about the diocese can be found on the Diocesan website www.cypgulf.org
There is a charming, recently upgraded, three bedroom house on the church campus, and a full expenses package is available.
Further information and an application pack may be obtained from the Bishop’s PA, Mrs Georgia Katsantonis, PO Box 22075, 1517 Nicosia, Cyprus (firstname.lastname@example.org ) Tel: + 357 22671220/+357 99619176.
Closing date for applications is 24th November, 2017. Interviews will be held in Cyprus. For an informal conversation about the post please contact The Ven Dr John Holdsworth on +357 99658147.
