Aden clinic eye surgery continues apace

Staff of the Ras Morbat Eye Clinic recently visited a remote area of South Yemen, where a displaced persons settlement of shanty dwellings has been created. The government has built a mosque and small medical facility in the area, which our staff were requested to visit. Many patients were treated, some of whom were recommended for surgery for cataracts and other conditions. This week the government transported those patients to Aden, where staff have been performing 12-15 surgeries per day over the last few days, sharing the great joy of those who can now see.
