Archbishop Michael was recently in Doha, for the licensing of Fr Mark Derry and Fr MD Johnson—Mark as senior priest in Qatar and Johnson as Associate Priest with particular care of the Tamil-language congregation. He also confirmed candidates at two services in the Church of the Epiphany Doha at Epiphanytide.

On the Friday, Archbishop Michael joined Canon Samuel Ugwuneri and Nigerian worshippers at a midday eucharist. Fr Samuel holds a Permission to Officiate as one of the Epiphany’s self-supporting clergy.

Fr Ralli, the senior Latin priest in Qatar, and his Maronite colleague Fr Charbel hosted the Archbishop and Fr Mark at the parish house of Our Lady of the Rosary.
