A Licensing service for the Reverend Deborah Moorgas, parish priest of St Barnabas Limassol and St Lazarus Pissouri, was held on 11 May at St Barnabas in Limassol. The service, led by Archdeacon Christopher Futcher, was a joyful occasion attended by a number of clergy from Cyprus parishes.

Prior to her arrival in Cyprus, Deborah was priest-in-charge of two congregations in the Diocese of Natal in South Africa, where she also worked as a marine insurance broker. Her family in South Africa was able to follow the service on Zoom, sending messages of support as she embarks on this exciting new journey.
