On 4 December 2018 a service of thanksgiving and celebration of the Christian Church in the Middle East was held at Westminster Abbey.
HRH Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, invited all of the visiting church representatives from the region to tea at Clarence House to hear concerns and learn of the needs of the Christians.
Archdeacon Bill represented Bishop Michael and the Christians in the Gulf.
HRH and Archbishop Justin Welby spoke of the importance of the witness of the Church in the area.
There were other contributions by various archbishops and other participants, and prayers for the church and people of the Middle East.
